On Balance & Boudoir | Fine Art Boudoir Photography in Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Phoenix, AZ

“Half of me is filled with bursting words and half of me is painfully shy. I crave solitude yet also crave people. I want to pour life and love into everything yet also nurture my self-care and go gently. I want to live within the rush of primal, intuitive decision, yet also wish to sit and contemplate. This is the messiness of life - that we all carry multitudes, so must sit with the shifts. We are complicated creatures, and ultimately, the balance comes from this understanding. Be water. Flowing, flexible and soft. Subtly powerful and open. Wild and serene. Able to accept all changes, yet still led by the pull of steady tides. It is enough.”

On Balance & Boudoir

When a woman like Madelyn comes to you with a concept you drop everything and begin imagining the possibilities and planning its magical execution without hesitation. If you've ever experienced a kind of serendipitous meditation like I have you surely understand what I mean. Some people simply bring out the best in you. That is enough.

Perhaps, you prefer yoga, reading, bathing by candlelight and incents...

Me - I create and am fueled and replenished by fine art boudoir photography

-the still life of portraits.

And in a moment of creation like this one when the music and shutter collide in beautiful silence ahhhh . Let there be solitude - where all we have is each other, beating to the same beat, and indulging in the

sweet nothings of pure self care and contentment.

That is how fine art boudoir exists.

It exists in the calm among the chaos.

It exists where everything comes together just slightly differently than as planned.

It exists in the deepest parts of you that are quiet yet screaming.

It exists in the moments where nothing else matters but the sound of your own heart beating and the breaths you take to remain steady,

calm and willing to trust the power of portraiture.

Where you remain authentic - trusting your body, mind, and soul to deliver what was already there. Feeding on your own desire to feel well and thriving on your commitment to self acceptance.

People like Madelyn understand this. They understand me, in my own flaws and my awkwardly persistent and perfectious (a made up word) need to create and share my passion with others. Meanwhile... inevitably drifting into my own solitude. They value photography as an art and open their minds to the possibility of meditation through intimate boudoir photography in an otherwise uncomfortable circumstance. They trust their photographer and their body -

and believe in self love.

These are my favorite women to photograph. My muse. My means for meditation. My hope. My joy, and my subject of possibility.

Without you, I am ill.

Create with me.
