If you’re going into a boudoir photo shoot you may be wondering how to pose, or how to look good in photos. As you look for pose ideas keep in mind that while there are poses that flatter most body types, not all poses are one size fits all. Whether you’re petite, tall, full busted, curvy, or plus size — when you choose your Phoenix boudoir photographer it is a good idea to ask the photographer if they have experience posing women similar to your body type.

At Bella Jade Boudoir in Scottsdale we’ve photographed hundreds of women over the years and know how to pose for many different body types and comfort levels.

We also talk through concerns you may have prior to your shoot including what you want to highlight in your photos as well as what you would rather de-emphasize. This helps us decide what will work best for YOU.

Yes, some of these concerns can benefit from choosing the right outfits but a lot of it has to do with lighting, angles, and proper posing for your shape and boudoir personality. We take special care to coach you through it all so that you get the most out of your time with us and can feel more confident that you’ll love the final images.
