She won our Giveaway in February and was met head on by some of her fears. A new season in her life that was filled with uncertainty but unapologetic love for herself and her body. She embraced it. As it provided her relief that sometimes doing the best we can do really is enough. Her session and time with us was so beautiful as is she.
Some might say that she was lucky to win our giveaway but reality is we are lucky to have HER.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?
I won a contest for the photoshoot.
I had always wanted to do this, but never thought I was “fit” enough.
Why did you choose Bella Jade Boudoir The Bella Jade Collection for your Arizona boudoir experience?
Then, I was introduced to the Facebook group and was inspired by all the beautiful photos of “all” the women of all shapes. ♥️

Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?
This experience has changed the way I see myself in so many ways. I fell in love with myself. I gave myself some grace.

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
I started to second guess myself in the car. I had just gotten news about what was going on with my body and I was asking myself “What am I doing here, I’m a 52 year old woman, I just found out I am in full bloom in menopause, and I questioned what am I doing here?”
I got out of the car and thought, “I’m here, let’s just do this, I don’t have to share the photos if I don’t like them.”
What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
Once I walked in and was greeted by Christina and Heidi, I just bursted out what I had just found out and experienced in the car. I started to tear up. They greeted me with open arms and said they were so excited that I showed up.
During the shoot we had a lot of laughs and for once during this building up to doing the shoot, I felt, this is where I am meant to be at this moment in my life.
I felt good about myself as they guided me through the experience.
The reveal is a whole other story. Haha
Do you have any advice for someone considering their own boudoir photo shoot?
Just do it! You may consider, wonder, or question about it, but no matter what, jump all in and take it all in! It will be worth it, it will be just the beginning of you loving “yourself” more than you could ever imagine.

Yes! I would and I already have! As soon as I walked out the door and got into my car after the shoot. Best experience I have ever had!
