Miss M. came to us wanting to celebrate her recent accomplishments. Her Scottsdale boudoir photo shoot was a 30th birthday gift to herself and she explains that it was everything she would expect from what she considers to be the best boudoir photographer in the Phoenix area. After her shoot we reached out to interview her about her boudoir experience and she shared with us what it was like for her from start to finish — including why she chose to do a shoot like this with Bella Jade, what her fears were going into it, how she overcame them, and some really great advice for anyone else who may be putting off booking their very own shoot.

What inspired you to pursue a Scottsdale boudoir session?
My 30th birthday was coming up! I knew I had to do it about a month before so I could have my pictures in hand for my birthday and the timing was perfect!! I just really wanted to celebrate myself and everything I’ve accomplished in just 30 years.

I followed a ton of very talented boudoir photographers in the area, I chose based on their talent and expertise. But Christina’s magnetic energy is what really made me choose her!

Do you consider yourself a confident person or more of a work in progress? Did this boudoir experience change the way you see yourself?
Oof that depends on the day! But having this experience has definitely helped me have many more confident days!

Did you have any fears going into this? Were you able to overcome them?
I was so excited and not at all nervous… until the second I reached the parking lot. 😆 but Christina and Leah welcomed me right in and started chipping away at the nerves. They made it really easy to get comfortable!

What was your favorite part about your Scottsdale boudoir experience?
Like I said, Christina is magnetic! Hanging out with her is fun!
But then you’re there and just feeling wonderful and beautiful and unstoppable.
The best part of the experience is walking out on cloud 9 and knowing you’re a mf-ing goddess.
